!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! - "To me, the entire point of a fast wagon is subtlety. You should sneak up on people, give no indication of your abilities, then shoot past them on an on-ramp while toting around some antique chest of drawers."

This is exactly why I like hot hatches. Same concept, but cheaper and easier to park.

Haha, I love doing this with my Sho, nobody suspects a thing. You know what'd be hilarious? I drivetrain swap to a ~2003 Taurus Wagon, that will really confuse the shit out of people. Plus I'd be able to carry an antique chest of drawers. My car is more suited to some Tiffany lamps and some antique rugs.
I was at an onramp and guy in a ~05 Mustang was accelerating quite hard, I accelerated harder. It was good, the look on his face was priceless.

I enjoy a good hot-hatch as well, but now that I am older and have a family I prefer the fast wagons. Sadly I have no monies to buy such things. :(

When I had my Legacy GT wagon the looks people faces were priceless.

Even as a young person with no family, I'd rather have a fast wagon. They're faster than hatches, more practical, and don't have the same douchey teenager stigma as your average hatch. When I do get rid of the GTI it'll probably be for a B5 S4 avant, since anything else would just feel like a downgrade.
